Alice E. “Dolly” McCaulley, 89, of Bellwood, died early Tuesday morning March 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 16, 1934 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Donald and Alice (McCarthy) Swank.
On Sept. 26, 1949, she married Harold A. McCaulley, Sr. in Winchester, Va., and he preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2012.
Surviving are her children, Harold A. Jr. (Debbie), Donald “Duke” (Brenda), Kevin (Patty), Brion (Onda), Shannon (Jenny), Errin (Christine), Alice (Randy) Corle and Amy (Rick) Guinard; a daughter in law, Linda McCaulley; 55 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jay; a granddaughter, Hannah; and siblings, Donnie, Patty and Judy.
Alice was formerly employed as a jewelry department sales associate at JC Penney, Altoona.
She was a member of The Bride of Christ Church, Bellwood. She enjoyed swimming at her daughter Alice’s pool and playing cards especially Pinnacle. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Sunday, March 26, 2023; and 10 to 11am, Monday, March 27, 2023 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday at the funeral home, with her son, Pastor Donald McCaulley officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood
