Obituary for Barbara L. Partner (Norris)
Barbara L. Partner, 73, of Bellwood, died early Wednesday morning Feb. 8, 2023 at Penn Highlands Healthcare Tyrone. She was born Feb. 26, 1949 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Walter and Irene (Dick) Norris.
On Sept. 6, 1969, she married George L. Partner in Winchester, Va., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 2020.
Surviving is a daughter, Loretta L. (Richard, Jr.) Dillen of Tyrone; two grandchildren, Amanda (Samantha) Partner and Robert (Traci) Pruznak, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Madison and Asher; and seven siblings, Robert, Edward, Chester and Nickolas Norris, Linda Moore, Phyllis Cooper and Geraldine.
She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Brantley; and brothers, Paul and Daniel.
Barbara was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School and was formerly employed as a housekeeper at Altoona Hospital. She enjoyed watching television, especially cowboy and Indian movies, and also wrestling.
To honor Barbara’s wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
