Obituary for Donna K. "Chub" Greene (Snyder)
Donna K. “Chub” Greene, 77, of Antis Township, died early Tuesday morning, March 28, 2022 at her home.
She was born September 24, 1945 in Alexandria, Louisiana, a daughter of the late William and Arlene (Davis) Snyder. On Aug. 10, 1972, she married James C. Greene, Sr. in Towson, Md. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 2018
Surviving are her children, Sherry (Kevin) Robinson of Bellwood, Todd (Debbie) Jones of Cheyenne, Wyo., and James Jr. (Gladys) of Bellwood; eleven grandchildren, Carrie, Shawn, Kristen, Joshua, Eddie, Austin, Lacey, Kyle, Anna, Joseph and Nicole; 23 great grandchildren; five siblings, William Snyder, Sharon Schroeder, Linda Edmondson, Karen Snyder and Trudy Barth; an aunt, Shirley Corrado; and sisters in law, Patty Davis and Becky Wyland.
Chub retired as a bartender at RJ’s Tavern, Bellwood. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and lottery tickets. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 11am to 1pm, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 1pm Saturday at the funeral home, officiated by Fredrick Ferguson, Pastor. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
