Obituary for Elmer E. Wilson

Elmer E. Wilson, 90, Sebastian, Florida, formerly of Bellwood, died Friday April 2, 2021 at Sebastian River Medical Center. He was born September 5, 1930 in Germany Valley, Mount Union, son of the late Roy and Anna (Snyder) Wilson.
On April 13, 1951, he married Beulah F. Swope in Hagerstown, Md., and she preceded him in death on Jan. 6, 2008. He then married Norma Riggleman Wolford.
Surviving are his wife of Altoona; four children, Carolyn A. (Raymond) Huey of Bellwood, Nancy K. (Denny) Lolas of Sebastian, Fla., Shirley J. (Kevin) Stabile of Altoona, and Charles R. (Sandy) of Loxahatchee, Fla; ten grandchildren, James Lolas, Jr., Nicole Taneyhill, Andrew Stabile, Brent and Blake Wilson, Kristin and Eric Morder, and Matthew, Leslie and Brittany Wilson; ten great grandchildren; a daughter in law, Judy Wilson of Roaring Spring; and a son in law, Jim Morder of Bellwood. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice M. Morder; and a son, Lester L.Wilson.
Elmer retired as a conductor at Conrail, Altoona. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood. He enjoyed collecting antique cars and traveling. Elmer’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8pm Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, April 12, 2021 at the funeral home, with Paul Stauffer officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
