Obituary for Frank J. Vallade
Frank J. Vallade, 78, Duncansville, died Saturday morning September 26, 2020 at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. He was born May 30, 1942 in Altoona son of the late John F. and Dorothea (Reifsteck) Vallade.
In 1965, he married Marjorie G. (Campbell) Partner, and she died in 2012.
Surviving are five siblings, Sister of Charity Jon Frances of Greensburg, Frederick of Duck, NC., Marian Heckman of Catasaqua, Paul of Mt. Airy, Md. and James of Altoona; his stepchildren, Ken (Marjorie) Partner and Cheryll Partner, both of Altoona; along with a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mercedes and stepson, Robert P. Partner, Jr.
He served in the US Marine Corps from 1961-65. Frank retired as a heavy equipment mechanic at PennDOT District 9, Hollidaysburg, and also worked at Keith’s Truck Service, East Freedom.
Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30am Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service outside of Mass will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at the funeral home, by Rev. Jozef Kovacik. Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
