When I moved to Lakemont around 1954-1955, Jerry was the first person I met, we lived right around the corner from him on Lotz Ave. We became best friends, explored all over Lakemont, and went to Lakemont elementary together. Eventually, I moved from the area and we lost touch. I am saddened to hear of his passing, but am happy to see that he had a rich, full life. I will always have fond memories of us growing up together.
