Obituary for Gloria J. "Goldie" Quarry
Gloria J. “Goldie” Quarry, 77, Antis Township, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, April 1, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. She was born May 24, 1943 in Altoona, daughter of the late Ralph and Betty (Patton) Quarry.
Surviving are her life partner with whom she resided, Charles Benedetto; a son, Michael Espigh of Huntingdon; seven grandchildren, Trevor, Ryan, Michael, Harlee, Damian, Maura and David; and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Espigh; and a brother, Ralph.
Goldie retired as a loom worker at Juniata Silk Mill. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, and also enjoyed crocheting, and spending time by the creek side at the farm.
There will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
