Obituary for Harold W. Davinsizer

Harold W. Davinsizer, 86, of Bellwood died Monday afternoon, November 7, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born December 28,1935 in Bellwood, a son of the late Ray and Emma (Moyer) Davinsizer.
He married C. Patricia Keith, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 1, 2008.
Surviving are his two daughters, L. Norene (David) Bartek of Altoona and Deborah L. (Bruce) Leskowitz of Altoona; a son, Steven R. (Lisa) of Harmony; seven grandchildren, Christie, Felicia, Alex, Max, Hollen, Haley and Jaden; two great grandchildren, Lachlan and Coleman; and his girlfriend, Georgeanna Ott of Bellwood.
He was preceded in death by a son, Scott A. in 2017; and eight siblings, John, Albert, Henry, Jacob, Robert, Isabelle Glasgow, Winifred Dale and Gertie McFalls.
He retired as an auto mechanic and owner of Davinsizer Towing, Bellwood.
Harold had a passion for all cars, he enjoyed tinkering with cars and attending auctions.
He especially enjoyed driving his 1957 Chevy in all the Bellwood parades.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8pm, Thurs., Nov. 10, 2022 and from noon to 1pm Fri., Nov. 11, 2022 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor John Collins officiating.
Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
