Obituary for Howard S. Strickler
Howard S. Strickler, 66, Antis Township, formerly of Bellwood, died Monday morning, April 10, 2023. He was born June 12, 1956 in Altoona, a son of the late Howard S. and Pansy (Strayer) Strickler. On Nov. 15, 1980, he married Sharon L. Brumbaugh at Edith Davis Eve Memorial Chapel at Penn State – Altoona. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2020.
He is survived by a brother, Jesse J. (Jami) Mobley of Bellwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Howard retired as a saleman at Lezzer Lumber, Hollidaysburg and was formerly employed by DeGol Organization with 20 years of service. Howard was a member of Grace Bible Church, Hollidaysburg. He enjoyed shooting sporting clays and deer hunting.
To honor his request, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
