Obituary for Janet Louise Dillen (Moore)
Janet Louise (Moore) Dillen, 70, Altoona, passed away early Saturday morning, February 27, 2021
at UPMC Altoona.
She was born November 25, 1950 in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert Moore and Leona (Warner) Moore Campbell. On Aug. 6, 1998, she married Joseph L. Dillen in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Jeff Scott (Julie) Moore in South Carolina; a sister, Patricia Baldessaro of Bellmeade; a stepsister, Linda Campbell of Harrisburg; a stepbrother, Brian Campbell of Lilly; two nephews, Michael Moore and Chris Baldessaro; and a great niece, Paige Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Robert Campbell; and a stepbrother, Tom Campbell.
Janet was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and she was formerly employed as an assembly line worker at General Cable, Altoona. She was of the Catholic faith. Janet enjoyed watching television and doing yardwork. She dearly loved her dogs and cats.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7pm, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood.
A funeral service outside of Mass will be held at 10am Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the funeral home, with Fr. Frank Scornaienchi officiating. Committal will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
The family suggests that contributions in Janet’s memory be made to Central PA Humane Society, Altoona.
