Obituary for Kenneth G. Campbell

Kenneth G. Campbell, I, 83, Bellwood died Saturday afternoon Sept. 12, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. He was born June 6, 1937 in Altoona, son of the late Gilbert D. and Martha (Sager) Campbell. He married the love of his life, Marjorie L. Partner, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 29, 2016 after 65 years of marriage.
Surviving are his son, Kenneth G., II and wife, JoAnn of Bellwood; three grandchildren, Kenneth G., III (Caroline), Tyler and Katie Campbell; a great granddaughter, Kennedy Grace; and a sister Joyce Zajac of Altoona. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie, Samuel and Robert.
He attended Bellwood Antis High School. In 1999, Ken retired as owner of the K&M Bar & Grill, Bellwood. He was a member of Bellwood Eagles and American Legion.
He enjoyed boating and relaxing at his cottage at Raystown. Ken enjoyed traveling to casinos and could always be found around a black jack table, enjoying his favorite pastime of gambling. He loved a light beer on ice, claiming it to be “5 o’clock somewhere”.
Ken loved his family and was especially proud of his three grandchildren.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at the convenience of his family.
