Nazareth B. Aposhian, 78, Tipton, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at his home. He was born March 22, 1942 in Aleppo, Syria, a son of the late Beshir and Loucin Aposhian.
On September 21, 1968, he married Elizabeth M. Serkhoshian in New Jersey.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Ara N. (Julie A.) of Avondale, Eric P. (Regina) of Dunmore, and Shant J. (Jennifer) of Irmo, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Jordan, Adam, Grace, Henry, Madison and Halle; and a great granddaughter, Myla. He was preceded in death by siblings, Charlie and Jacqueline Aposhian and Emily Chalian.
Nazareth was a graduate of Finlay Engineering College, Kansas City, MO and had also attended Southern Methodist University. He retired as an electrical engineer at PPG Industries, Tipton. He was a member of Tipton Baptist Church and was an avid golfer.
A private family gathering will be held at the convenience of his family. A celebration of Nazareth’s life will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
