Obituary for Norman W. Datres
Norman W. Datres, 63, of Antis Township died late Tuesday evening, June 21, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born November 18, 1958 in Altoona, son of the late Norman P. “Bud” and Judith A. (Beichler) Datres.
Surviving are his son, Michael W., with whom he resided; two grandchildren, Breanna and Hunter; two brothers, Paul G. and Shawn; and three sisters, Sherry (Bruce) Quirin, Cynthia (Dave) Kalinowski and Denna Datres. He was preceded in death by a brother, Todd A.
Norman was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and retired as a machinist at General Electric, Lewistown.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time at the camp.
To honor his wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
The family suggests that contributions in Norman’s memory be made to Central Penna. Humane Society, Altoona.
