Obituary for Raymond E. Bush
Raymond E. Bush, 79, Antis Township died Wednesday morning February 5, 2020 at his home
He was born February 13, 1940 in Bellwood, son of the late William L. and Bertha E. (Farber) Bush.
On January 21, 1967 he married Sandra J. Schellhammer at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellwood.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Lori (Scott) Clapper of Bellwood, Wendi (Terry) McCaulsky of Tipton, and Christi J. (Bruce Makin) Holzapfel of Bellwood; five grandchildren, Brandon (Megan), Garret, Tyler, Chelsea and Leigha; and a sister, Thelma Deterline of Roaring Spring. He was preceded in death by brothers, Leroy, Wilbur, Sam, Kenny, and Daryl ;and a sister, Dorothy Zeller.
Raymond retired as a truck driver at Ward Trucking Co., Altoona after 25 years of service, and was a member of the Ward Retirement Club. He enjoyed fixing people’s cars and helping anyone who needed anything fixed. He also enjoyed hanging out with his garage buddies. Raymond’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 6pm Tuesday at the funeral home, Pastor Tim McGarvey officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
