Thomas R. McGeary, 70, Altoona died Monday evening, July 27, 2020 at his home. He was born, July 1, 1950 in Altoona, son of Dorothy M. (Painter) and the late Elmer R. McGeary. In May of 1981, he married Kathleen L. Edwards in Martinsburg.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Michael S. of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Bethany A. (Gregg) Danella of Altoona; two grandchildren, Anthony and Gianna; his mother of Bellwood; a brother, Ronald W. (Sue) of Antis Township; and a sister, Nancy (Rock) Keiser of Antis Township.

Thomas was a 1969 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School. He was a US Army veteran serving during the VietNam Era. He retired as a machine operator at Roaring Spring Blank Book Co. Thomas enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle and taking pictures while hiking.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8pm Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, July 31, 2020 at the funeral home, Pastor Stewart McClelland officiating. Interment, with military honors, will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
